WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The Big Ten Network has announced the tip times for its 2016-17 men's basketball conference schedule. Purdue will appear on the network nine times beginning with the league opener against Iowa on Dec. 28.
The contest with Iowa will begin at 9 p.m. ET as the Boilermakers look to win their third straight Big Ten opener. Purdue's next game with Minnesota on Jan. 1, will also be on Big Ten Network, with tip time to be determined for the tilt with the Golden Gophers.
The Boilermakers' return trip to Iowa City on Jan. 12 at 9 p.m. ET, kicks off three straight games on the network. Both the Illinois (Jan. 17; 7 p.m.) and Penn State (Jan. 21; Noon) contests will be aired by BTN.
Purdue's lone meeting with Nebraska in Lincoln on Jan. 29, will tip at 4:30 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network, as will the first meeting with Northwestern on Feb. 1, from Mackey Arena. The tip time for the Northwestern game will be at 8:30 p.m.
Rutgers at Purdue (Feb. 14; 7 p.m.) and Purdue at Penn State (Feb. 21; 6 p.m.) will wrap up Purdue's conference schedule on the Big Ten Network.
Purdue's non-conference games with Villanova, Georgia State and Western Illinois will also be aired by BTN.
The Southern Indiana exhibition game (Nov. 1; 7 p.m.) and Norfolk State (Dec. 21; 7 p.m.) will be streamed online by BTN Plus.
The remainder of network assignments and times will be released at a later date.
Mini plans and single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public online on Oct. 1, and tickets for the Villanova and Indiana games will only be available with the purchase of mini plans and season tickets.
