Meet The Boilers: Senior Alex Whittemore

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - In the final 17 days before opening day, we invite you to learn a little more about the 2015 Boilermaker softball team, including fun facts and a few of their favorite things.

To start, we introduce senior pitcher Alex Whittemore. The Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., native has seen action in 50 games as a Boilermaker, posting a 7-7 record and 64 strikeouts in 112 innings of work. Whittemore issued 21 Ks in 45 innings in 2014, including four in a complete-game no-hitter against Mississippi Valley State.
