Volleyball Announces 2015 Promotions Schedule

June 8, 2015

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - With the first fall practice just over two months away, mark your calendar now to make sure you don't miss your chance to see your Boilers in action in 2015.

Get your first glimpse at the 2015 Boilermakers at a pair of preseason matches. The team will split into two squads and battle at the annual Gold & Black Scrimmage August 15, just a week after fall camp begins, then your Boilers will take on stars of old at the annual Alumni Scrimmage on August 22.

A youth clinic will be held prior to the Gold and Black Scrimmage on August 15. It is open to the first 100 players eighth grade and under to RSVP via email at sportspromo@purdue.edu with their name, grade and T-shirt size. The one-hour clinic will include a free T-shirt and a ticket voucher to the team's October 3 match with Maryland. Check in for the clinic will be at 9:30 a.m. The clinic will last from 10 to 11 a.m. The Gold and Black Scrimmage will be at 2 p.m.

Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to chat with Coach Shondell in a pregame event on August 22. Appetizers and a Q&A with the 13th-year Boiler boss will highlight the thank-you reception, which is slated to begin at 4:30 p.m., ahead of the 6 p.m. Alumni Scrimmage.

Season ticket holders and John Purdue Club members also are invited to The Situation Room, a pre-game chalk talk with Dave Shondell, prior to each Saturday home match.

Once the season begins, there are plenty of promotions and giveaways to keep you coming back for more.
